Training Methodology
Cara is committed to positive reinforcement training, marker/clicker training, relationship-based training and force-free training.
Cara believes that the core of successful training is a strong and productive relationship between the person and the dog. She focuses on effective communication by teaching her clients to read their dog's body language and interact with their dog in a way that is consistent and clear to the dog. Cara helps her clients understand how dogs think, feel, and experience the world, as she feels that comprehensive theoretical knowledge is crucial in order to influence dog behavior.
